We become Tourists!

Due to an unexpected difficulty on their trip, our friends Bev and Whitey had to return to Jackson Hole earlier than planned. And since we had planned a continuous set of house sits, we chose not to bring camping gear this summer.

Thus, we have two weeks to "do something" (since camping was not an option). We have another friend, Debbie, who has encouraged us, for many, many years,  to visit her in Victoria BC - so that pointed us to Canada, eh?

A bit of looking around suggested the following itinerary: Jackson Hole to Banff (Alberta, Canada), then to Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), then Victoria (Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada), cross back into the US for the Olympic Peninsula (Washington state), and head back to Victor Idaho via Portland (Oregon), and Boise (Idaho).

We will not be staying in one place, not be fishing, and not even hiking it appears - just being tourists!

To start off, we visit friends in Driggs Idaho for a couple of nights!
