Icefields Highway

North of Lake Louise is a 200KM stretch of road call the Icefields Highway.  We did not plan, so this was brand new to us. There were red chairs along the highway, so we headed out in search of the chairs.

The scenery was excellent. Lots of hanging glaciers and beautiful views. A big WOW as we drove. We did not expect to drive a long way as the highway was in the wrong direction for us. And then, a massive traffic jam (construction) stopped our northern advance and we turned back.

But along the way we saw some real nice stuff --- Icefields Highway is a definite future Thing to Do.
