Vancouver

From Banff it was off to Vancouver -- not a typical pick for a summer trip out west, but this ended up being a different two weeks.

I was able to meet some guys that I know and tour around the city.

I really liked Vancouver! Alicia was not "into" being in a city, but somehow she survived. Vancouver is very bike friendly so we rented bikes and toured around town. Something like 13 miles. Toured through the famous Stanley Park, the downtown seawall bikeway, English Bay, and more.

Vancouver has been built up rapidly in the last 20-25 years due to the Asian invasion. Tons of new hi-rise residences in the city give it the feel of Manhattan. Coffee shops on every corner. Crazy diverse restaurants. Very walkable - but no UBER!

We had an AirBnb on the 17th floor of one residence in downtown.

Here are some images.

City View (all residential buildings) in downtown. Lots of parks and greenspace.
