In all the photos that I took in VC, this is the one that strikes me the most for composition. If I could I would take a photo of this image every day possible in order to get the perfect image. I was there on two different days and ended up with about 50 shots -- wishing that the boats on the pier were not in the image. I waited for different lighting conditions, sun/overcast, for reflections of both structural concepts, and more.

Vancouver Juxtoposition
As I walked around Vancouver I was struck by this image. It clearly shows the differences between "old vancouver" and new. The front is the old yacht club boat storage units made from wood and corrugated metal, the rear is new bright and shiny residential Vancouver. I asked a friend who lives there if the new residents want these torn down.. He replied "Oh YUH!"
