Banff-- home of the Banff Festival of Mountain Films

We have never been to Banff or the Canadian Rockies --- but now that we have spent two days here, -- in short, this is a place that should not be passed up!

We need to think more about how to include this area in the future. The mountains are everywhere, They are awesome and they offer quite a bit of excitement for tourists, hikers, mountaineers, etc. I guess we are sad that we did not "discover" the Canadian Rockies until just now.

We did not have the time to plan anything, so no hikes, no fishing and not a lot of adventure. We did however spend some time being tourists and so we took tourist photos. Our time here was during some inclement weather... overall good, but subject to mountain weather -- afternoon rain storms.
